For me Art is Life-Everything that surrounds us is art in its purest form
Is the world of art a parallel reality or real life in which everything boils, excites, evokes a sea of feelings and helps to make the right decisions and move on?
For me, art is life, everything that surrounds us is art in its purest form, I transfer my feelings, emotions, impressions into my works, this is my way of talking to people, my dialogue. Often people can understand art in their own way, through their experience, sensations, their character and mood. Any picture is always a dialogue: the artist speaks, the viewer listens and responds with his emotion. And art is not always a box of pleasure, beauty, it is a promise, an appeal, a hint, a forecast, it is your way to yourself and everything that is around.
“My search in art continues, my main theme and task now is to speak through my paintings about what is happening in Ukraine, about my hometown of Mariupol, which was practically destroyed as a result of Russian aggression.”
Since March of this year, I have created about 50 works, now the number of exhibitions in which they have been presented is already more than 20, geography – the whole world!
So, I will tell you a little about two exhibitions in Munich, where my paintings from the «Children of War» series were presented, and about a new exhibition in Italy.
The exhibition “Future on hold” was held from 31 October to 05 November at the Winter Atelier Gallery, Munich.
The exhibition showed the emotions and thoughts that were caused by war and flight.
The works of Ukrainian artists were presented, which reflect how they cope with the new reality and experience changes in Ukraine.
At this exhibition, I presented my painting “ Unbreakable”: a beautiful Ukrainian woman hugging babies, with a bouquet of mallows in her hand – as a symbol of a beautiful and strong woman, protector of Ukraine, children symbolize the future.
Her head is covered with a red scarf, as a reference to Orthodox icons. In the picture, I laid a lot of symbols and elements that are worth considering. But even without small details, a woman says a lot to the viewer with her eyes. This work is a continuation of two series of my paintings at once – “Children of War” and “Mallows of Ukraine”.
The exhibition was visited by a huge number of spectators, among the guests was the Consul of Ukraine in Munich Oleksandr Stetsyuk.
October 22 – November 6 – exhibition “I Have No Words – There Is No Title” – Pop-up exhibition at the Rathausgalerie, Munich. A large exhibition of Ukrainian and German artists, the topic is significant, everyone understands what it is about, but it is difficult to find words to express all thoughts in one short title … My painting “Kiss” is a portrait of a woman kissing her child, this painting has already been shown at my solo exhibition at the «Galerini».
A special thanks to the Mayor of Munich, Dieter Reiter, for the opportunity to participate in such an exhibition in the very heart of the city and for the attention to contemporary Ukrainian art and the theme that we all came to show. The tour was conducted by Michael Burs (Director of the Villa Stuck Museum) and Damian Lentini (curator of Haus der Kunst), the audience had the opportunity to hear stories about the works from the lips of the artists themselves and ask questions.
Just a few days ago, the exhibition “Word with women” opened at the Villa Reale in Monza near Milan, now my paintings from the “Children of War” series can be seen there. The exhibition is part of the project UKRAINIAN MISTERISTRY IN ITALY, created by the public organizations VITAUKR, Let’s Do It Ukraine and Let’s Do It Italy for the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Italy, the Embassy of Italy in Ukraine, the Institute of Italian Culture in China.
Within the framework of the exhibition, there will also be a presentation of the book by Edoardo Crisafulli – Director of the Institute of Culture of Italy – about Ukraine, on the cover of which you can see one of my paintings, which is just at the exhibition.

The issue of dialogue, through art, is especially important today. Often, when simple words are not enough, it is art that can say more.
I continue to share with you my news and projects. See you at new exhibitions!
