Gisele Bündchen Talks Spirituality & Being Ruled By The Moon at Watches and Wonders 2024
Gisele draws upon this year’s theme ‘Tribute to Eternity’ and how she implements this in her everyday life
Thursday 11th April
On the opening day of Watches and Wonders in Geneva, supermodel and IWC Brand Ambassador Gisele Bündchen visited IWC Schaffhausen at its booth.
Supermodel and mother of two, Gisele Bündchen was a vision in all white in Geneva Switzerland.
Speaking of her Grandmother and deep links and guidance from the moon, Gisele opened up about only getting her haircut and growing certain foods during a crescent moon.
At the luxury watch fair, Watches & Wonders, Gisele explained her theory about watches having an energy.
Touching on future plans, she wants to dazzle with action and prefers to be tight lipped but flagged she has things in the pipeline.
During her visit, Gisele toured the booth which this year is designed as “A Tribute to Eternity”. Reflecting the endless cycle of day and night, the booth showcases the new colors, Silver Moon, Horizon blue, Dune, and Obsidian; each of which is uniquely reminiscent of parts of the endless cycle of day and night.
This year, the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer presents its new Portugieser collection with reworked designs, new color codes, and new complications such as the Portugieser Eternal Calendar. “It is a pleasure to be here with IWC today at Watches and Wonders today and experience the timeless new Portugieser collection that is beautifully displayed with “A Tribute to Eternity,” states Gisele.
Gisele’s visit to the IWC booth comes just a few months after she joined IWC at Art Basel Miami for an intimate conversation on time and style. During the conversation, she shared how she manages her busy schedule yet still prioritizes “me time” and most importantly, family time.
In 2022, IWC welcomed the Brazilian supermodel and philanthropist Gisle as a brand ambassador. The relationship was formed in recognition of the remarkable synergy of shared values and ambitions between the two. Throughout her career, she has become one of the most successful and recognizable supermodels in the world. Not only because she has been photographed by some of the most legendary photographers and walked the runways of the biggest fashion houses but also because of her work within sustainability. Gisele has been a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environmental Program since 2009. She has also been honored by renowned academic institutions such as Harvard University for her longstanding commitment to key environmental issues.
