Introducing New Participants, an Evening Preview and Art Tours

The fourth London Art Week will take place from 1 to 8 July 2016 (preview on 30 June).

The most important gallery-based celebration of pre-contemporary art, held in the global center of the traditional art market, this annual event unites the capital’s foremost art experts, three leading auction houses and selected international galleries, and “celebrates the unparalleled expertise and extraordinary riches held within the galleries of Mayfair and St James’s.” Approximately 50 participants, all situated within walking distance, unveil new discoveries and host special exhibitions, with the event attracting connoisseurs and enthusiasts from around the world.

London Art Week 2016

This year’s event will follow the success of London Art Week 2015, which welcomed representatives from over 50 international museums, as well as a record number of visitors from as far afield as Australia, Brazil, China, India and Singapore. The week also recorded sales up to and over £1million with purchases by both new clients and international institutions.
