Selfridges is offering its customers a chance to afford the luxurious taste of what is arguably one of the most sought after wines in the world. The illustrious 1995 Chateau Petrus from Bordeaux in France will be available on sips at the bar from £52 in the Wonder bar, Oxford Street London.
The Wonder bar is a chance to marvel at some of the greatest wines in the world and a place to explore wines that you may have never come across before. It is also a sound option for those of us who consider ourselves Connoisseurs yet still may not be able to afford to purchase a bottle of the finest drops. As there is limited production of the Chateau Petrus, running about 2500 cases every year and each vintage different, we believe that the 12 cases at Selfridges will be an opportunity not to be missed. Chateau Petrus makes a wine that is extrodinarily rich and full-bodied but with the structured tannins underpinning it to ensure decades of development in a bottle.
