NEW YORK – Christie’s is proud to present Jewels Online, open for bidding from 19 September through 30 September. The auction features more than 200 lots ranging from antique to contemporary and from white diamonds to colored gemstones. With a wide selection of signed jewels by makers including Boucheron, Bulgari, Cartier, Hemmerle, JAR, Oscar Heyman & Brothers, Seaman Schepps, Taffin, Tiffany & Co, Jean Schlumberger and Van Cleef & Arpels, and more than half of the lots offered without reserve, this sale is sure to delight seasoned collectors and jewelry enthusiasts alike.
Among the highlights is an emerald-cut Diamond Ring of 7.53 carats ($100,000 – 150,000). Also featured, are 18 pieces by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co., reflecting many of the visionary designer’s signature motifs, including an Amethyst, Diamond and Ruby ‘Bird on a Rock’ Brooch ($20,000 – 30,000), a Diamond and Gold ‘Paris Flames’ Brooch ($6,000 – 8,000), and a Turquoise and Gold Brooch ($3,000 – 5,000). Other highlights include a pair of Hemmerle Aquamarine and Tsavorite Garnet Earrings ($15,000 – 20,000); a Chanel Multi-Gem Cuff Bracelet ($20,000 – 30,000) with an array of tanzanites, amethysts, peridots, citrines, garnets, and topazes; and a Cartier Diamond, Emerald, and Onyx ‘Panthère Brooch ($20,000 – 30,000).
