BALTICS’ FIRST RADISSON HOTEL HAS OPENED ITS DOORS IN RIGA

Radisson Hotel Group’s new upscale hotel brand ‘Radisson’ has now opened its doors in Riga. Radisson Hotel Old Town Riga is developed in collaboration with the group’s long-term partner Astor Group and is a rebranding of the former Astor Riga Hotel.

Tom Flanagan Karttunen, Area Senior Vice President Northern Europe of Radisson Hotel Group said: “We’re delighted to bring the first Radisson hotel to the Baltic region and to continue our fruitful collaboration with Astor Group. With this hotel, we introduce a new brand and new hotel experiences for our guests. We continue our strong commitment to the region and strengthen our position as the leading hotel group in the Baltics.”

Built in 1876 by the famous Latvian architect, J.Baumanis, Radisson Hotel Old Town Riga is a stunning property situated at the entrance of the Old Town. The hotel offers 60 beautifully designed guest rooms and suites.

The hotel’s elegant restaurant “ASTOR” is also located in the historic hotel building in the exclusive part of Riga’s old town. The chef offers a wide selection of dishes, made from products of highest quality. Through the large windows, guests can enjoy the magnificent atmosphere of the city right from their table. The restaurant offers views to the city park, including the city canal, the Freedom Monument and the National Opera. In addition, guests can enjoy a harmonic summer terrace, facing the Old Town.

The hotel is the ideal venue for meetings, seminars, workshops or festivities of all kinds, with an experienced conference team who knows how to create memorable meetings for all its guests.
