Tokyo, 31 March 2014 – Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo announces the addition of three new options to its exclusive range of “Enchanting Excursions”, which start on 1 April 2014.
Foodie Tokyo is a one-day tour exploring Tokyo’s traditional and delicious food culture, while Kunisaki & Yufuin introduces a historic pilgrimage route for Buddhist and Shintoist monks, an old castle town and onsen – a thermal hot spring. Alternatively, guests may enjoy Golf near Mount Fuji, a four-day golf tour that includes some excellent play and a stay in Shuzenji to relax at one of Japan’s top-class ryokans.
All Enchanting Excursions include pre- and post-tour stays at Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo. For Foodie Tokyo, the length of stay may be adjusted according to the guests’ needs.
These new additions to Shangri-La’s Enchanting Excursions are provided in collaboration with Walk Japan. These unique explorations of authentic Japanese culture – even the golf tour has a distinctive Japanese feel – and some of the country’s little-known, but true gems may be experienced in the company of an expert Walk Japan guide.
